State of the Lodge

Jan 28, 2015

Free Masonry is a live and well in Middletown, PA!  The 2015 Lodge Program is outlined for the New Year, the members are assigned to their committees, and we are all set for another very productive year.

The Long Range Planning Committee is already actively engaging local schools, local organizations, and charities in an effort to continue to strengthen our bond with our communities.  The New Membership Committee is developing new initiates to be the future leaders, officers, and committee members of our Lodge.  The Officers are strengthening their execution of Masonic ritual through regular practice.

The Lodge is prepared to receive the R.W.G.M. — Robert J Bateman — at the March Stated Meeting, when he will be presenting 50, 60, and 70 – year Service Emblems.  The 144th Anniversary Banquet is shaping up to be an excellent event.  Our keynote speaker will be Larry Christenson, former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher and member of the 1980 World Series team.  We will, once again, be the place to eat on Election Days in May & November with our world renowned Election Day Spaghetti Dinners!

We will continue to be active in Middletown community events — participating in the Craft Fair (June); National Night Out (August); opening our doors to participants in the Memorial Day Parade (May); and offering Trick or Treat (October).

To all my of my fellow Brethren: I appreciate your participation and support in strengthening our fraternal organization.  I look forward to another successful year!

S&F,

– Gregory L. Bair WM.

Join the Brotherhood

Through Freemasonry, men from all different backgrounds and walks of life come together as equals and call each other “Brother.” What unifies Masons is not where we come from or what we do for a living, but rather what we aspire to be.

About the Prince Edwin Spring Creek Lodge No. 486

More than 80,000 Masons in Pennsylvania and several million worldwide continue to help men and women face the challenges of the 21st century by building bridges of brotherhood and instilling in the hearts of men ideals for a better tomorrow.
